It is the end of January and time to announce the winner for the User of the Month award instituted by the Library.

This time the winner is K Pranesh, Class IX C
Second time in a row the User of the Month award goes to Class IX C.

Pranesh has become an active member of Readers' Club and an active user of the library in the recent months. He loves adventure stories and comics and eager to read books from the recommended list for the Readers' Club.He has submitted many reviews during the month and secured 52 library points.

Vidyalaya Bags Overall Trophy in Inter School Cultural Fest

The School Team won Overall Championship at  Inter School Cultural Fest organised by Sree Narayana Guru College, Coimbatore on 30 January 2014.

User of the Month - December 2013

Dileep M, IX C

Dileep M is a regular borrower of books from the library and also a regular visitor of the library websites and blogs who always posts updates of his reading on the blogs. An active member of Readers' Club Dileep has scored 38 library points in the month of December 2013.

Kachido Martial Arts Academy Launched its website

Kachido Martial Arts Academy, Palakkad has launched its website on 9 December 2014. The Karate Academy is run by Sensei Shihan RajeshKumar S who is the Karate instructor of our Vidyalaya.

Reenu and Rahul Krishna of our vidyalaya has been selected as the Student of the Month for December 2013 and January 2014 respectively by the Academy.

Vidyalaya ICT Centre Inaugurated

Honourable MP Mr. MB Rajesh today inaugurated the newly constructed ICT Centre of the Vidyalaya. The ICT Centre have two computer labs for secondary and senior secondary students of the Vidyalaya. The computer labs are equipped with 50 new computer systems with peripherals, three 5 KVA UPS with two hour backup, four laser printers and ten 600 VA UPSs which were provided by the honourable MP under the MPLADS.

In his inaugural speech Mr. M B Rajesh appreciated the Vidyalaya for effectively utilizing the funds sanctioned and informed the gathering that he has given preference to education sector in utilizing the MPLADS.

 Dr. S Nalayini, Principal welcomed the guests and expressed the gratitude of the Vidyalaya for strengthening the ICT infrastructure. Mr. Eapen Varghese, Chairman, VMC, Mr. T Radhamohan, Nominee  Chairman, VMC, Mr. Mohan, PTA Secretary, members of VMC, PTA and parents were present during the function.
