Mercy College Mother Mary Chrisantha Memorial Mathematics Quiz, for higher secondary students  on  November  6, 2019  in the college seminar hall.

Registration is fee and any number of teams can participate in the competition.

Students of KV Kanjikode who are interested in participating in the quiz may contact the Librarian  on or before 4 November 2019 for registration.

Students Win at National Ayurveda Day Poster and Quiz Competitions

Pranathi receiving First Prize in Poster Design Contest

Students of KV Kanjikode won prizes in the inter school poster and quiz competitions organised in connection with National Ayudrveda Day celebrations today at Government Ayurveda Hospital.

Prantathi and Atul J won First Prize and Second Prize respectively in Poster Design competition . The school team represented by Bharath Harikumar and Abhin S R won Third Prize in the Ayurveda Quiz competition.

All India Assurance Limited is organising an Essay Writing Competition for students of classes 9 to 11 in connection with the Vigilance Week Celebrations .

Power Grid Corporation organised Vigilance Awareness Week Debate Contest for Students

On the occasion of the Vigilance Awareness Week a debate competition for students of Classes IX to XII of Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode was organised by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. 12 students participated in the competition.

Mrs. Akshita, Chief Manager Power Grid Corporation of India Limited was the Chief Guest. The winners were distributed with Gift Coupons.

Essay Writing and Color Poster making Competitions for Students

In connection with Vigilance Awareness Week, Instrumentation Limited, Palakkad is organising an essay writing competition and color poster making competition for High School and Higher Secondary School students located under the area of Palakkad Educational District

The essay contest will be held on 29 October 2019 at 3:00 pm at IL, Kanjikode. Only one student each from High School and Higher Secondary School category may participate with the approval letter from the Head of the School

The color poster making competition theme is "Integrity - A Way of Life"

The poster contest will be organised at school level and the best entry will be forwarded to the organisers.

Those students who are interested in participating the contests may contact Librarian by 26 October 2019.

User of the Month - September 2019

Ku. Alana Rajeev, VIII B was selected as the User of the Month for September 2019. A regular library user and a very good reader, Alana is also an active member of the Readers' Club.

Malayala Manorama Big Q Challenge

Interested students of Class IX to XII may contact the Librarian for participating in the Manorama Big Q Challenge.

Pencil Drawing Competition for Students

 Bharath Sanskrithi Foundation in association with K G Bazar is organising a Pencil Drawing Competition  on 6th October 2019. 

Venue: Kallinkal Complex, Pudussery

Eligibility: Students of Class V to XII

The contest will be conducted in three categories

Class VIII to X

Class XI to XII

Fit India Plogging Run @ KV Kanjikode

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode organised Fit India Plogging Run 2nd October 2019. 673 participants including staff, students and parents and Ex-servicemen as special guests participated in the event. Mr. Bhaskaran, Ex-serviceman flagged off the event.
 

Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations

Vidyalaya celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi with special programme in the morning assembly. Mrs. Anitha G, Principal I/c paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi by garlanding the portrait. It was followed by All Faith Prayer by the Scouts and Guides of the Vidyalaya.

Vidyalaya organised Fit India Plogging Run  in which 673 participants participated including staff, students, parents and ex-servicemen.
