हिन्दी पखवाड़ा
केंद्रीय विद्यालय कंजिकोड में हिंदी पखवाड़ा 14 सितम्बर से 28 सितंबर तक मनाया गया ।
विद्यालय के प्रभारी प्रचारी श्री कृष्णदास द्वारा सरस्वती माँ का माल्यार्पण कर हिंदी पखवाड़ा का शुभारंभ किया |
इसमें छात्रों के लिए विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया जो निम्नलिखित है -
कविता पाठ,कविता लेखन ,हिंदी प्रश्नोत्तरी, सुलेख,श्रुत लेख,हिंदी में टाइपिंग, वर्तनी शुद्धि, एकल गायन ,आशुभाषण,नारा लेखन, संवाद, डायलॉग आदि ।
कर्मचारियों के लिए भी निम्नलिखित प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया -
कविता पाठ, हिंदी प्रश्नोत्तरी, स्मृति शक्ति पर आधारित व प्रशासनिक शब्दावली आदि की प्रतियोगिताओ का संचालन किया गया ।
इन सभी प्रतियोगिताओं का संचालन ऑनलाइन गूगल मीट के माध्यम से किया गया ।
दिनांक 28 सितंबर को हिन्दी पखवाड़े का समापन किया गया | इस अवसर पर श्री नाहर सिंह मीणा ने हिन्दी पखवाड़े की रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की | प्रतियोगिताओं में विजेता शिक्षकों को प्रमाण पत्र दिए गए | बाद में प्रभारी प्राचार्य द्वारा हिन्दी पखवाड़े के बारे में अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए गए |

International School Library Month 2020
October is International School Library Month (ISLM), an annual celebration of school libraries worldwide.
The 2020 theme for ISLM is “Finding Your Way to Good Health and Well Being”. It is based on one of the UNSDG goals i.e. UN Sustainable Development Goal #3 “Good Health and Well Being”.
Our school will be celebrating this month with lots of library and reading activities. Another theme for this month is Mahatma Gandhi. So you can send any creative works related to Mahatma Gandhi and the ISLM 2020 theme to be showcased on our portal and blogs.

Painting and Essay Writing Competition for Students
The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, is observing Swachhata Pakhwada from 16 - 30 Sep 2020 and is also celebrating the World Tourism Day and Paryatan Parv from 27 – 30 Sep, 2020. In this context, the India tourism Kochi office proposes to organize competitions for the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya schools under Ernakulam Region, through digital mode (due to the COVID-19 pandemic). Please find attached a letter regarding the same. The competitions are as mentioned below:-

If yes, in what way can it be developed into a tourist friendly destination?"

Big Butterfly Month India 2020 - Session on Butterflies by Abhijeeth Sathish, X C
Today, Mast. Abhijeeth Sathish, Class X C talked to the students of Class VI on Big Butterfly Month India 2020 and discussed about butterflies. In the wonderful interactive session, he explained the differences between butterflies and moths, the interesting facts about them, the importance of the butterflies, butterfly photography and the butterflies seen in India.

"Just a minute show" - CCA Competition for Primary
"Just a minute show"
Welcome to a novel competition "just a minute" as part of CCA.
This is a one minute show for students to exhibit their talents.
Students can choose any one of the following items listed below and perform for exactly 1MINUTE.
Song
Dance
Playing instruments
Sport skills
(football,hoops,skating skipping swimming(strictly under parents supervision only )
Mono act
Mimicry
Acting (advertisement or decent movie scenes)
Cricket commentry
News reading
Students may practice and master any of those items given and perform the same during a live session as per the schedule given below.
Class teachers may select any 5 outstanding performances from their class and give the names to the undersigned.
Class teachers may call for a one hour live meet in the evening hours on the particular date for the conduct of the same .
