Release of "Lost Monsoon" an anthology of poems by Prabha Prakash

Prabha Prakash, an alumna of KVK, was the topper of XII Commerce stream and secured All India 6th Rank at KVS level in AISSCE 2009. She is a Chartered Accountant presently associated with Amrita University 's Technology Business Incubator. From her school days she was interested in writing poetry and maintains her own blog. Her blog “Epiphanic moments” is listed in the Directory of Best Indian Blogs by Indiantopblogs. She has published poems in e-journals of repute like Kalaage, Ink drift magazine and Delhi poetry slam. She also writes for Times of India blogs and other literary communities. Her poem “A Whiff of the past” was selected as one of the Highly commended poems of December 2018 by International community of poets,UK.

Her first collection of poetry, “Lost Monsoon” published by Writers Workshop, Kolkata was released in the assembly by Mrs.Usha. N, PGT and Head of the Dept.of English KV Kanjikode and the first copy was given to Mrs.K.Rajeswari, Principal KV Kanjikode.

Republic Day Celebrations 2019

Vidyalaya celebrated Republic Day today with Mrs. K Rajeswari, Principal hoisting the flag. Mrs. Usha N, PGT English was the Chief Guest.

The cultural programs and the speeches by the students were the highlights of the programme.

The Vidyalaya also witnessed the release of the book "Lost Monsoon" written by our alumna Ms. Prabha Prakash. Ms. Prabha also gave away the prizes to the winners of Online India Quiz conducted by the library and the User of the Month for December 2018.

The certificates to the Golden Arrow Award winning cubs and bulbuls and Rajyapuraskar winning scouts and guides were also distributed.
