Science Month celebrations concludes with wonderful performance by Class I D - विज्ञान महीने समारोह कक्षा I D की अद्भुत प्रदर्शन के साथ समाप्त
Science Month celebrations concluded today with a wonderful performance in the morning assembly by the tiny tots of Class D who presented the different types of soil.
During February Science Month was celebrated with daily special programmes in the morning assembly by Classes I to XI. The primary section also organised a Science Exhibition on 26 February 2016 in connection with National Science Day.
National Science Day was celebrated on 27 February 2016 with Dr. S Nalayini, paying homage to Dr. C V Raman by garlanding the great scientist's photograph in the Morning Assembly. This was followed by a special programme by Class VII.
Certificates to the winners of best Morning Assembly programmes were also distributed.

Thinking Day Celebration
All faith prayer
An All Faith prayer was conducted in a serene atmosphere by the scouts and guides at 8.30 AM in the multi purpose hall. The District Chief Commissioner : Mrs. Dr. S Nalayini was the chief guest. 113 scouts and guides participated in uniform. Individual prayers and special prayer songs were sung. 3 Scout Masters and 1 Guide Captain, 6 Flock Leaders and 4 Cub Masters participated and led the prayer. Music teacher Sri. Narayanan was the leading person.
At 9.30 Am, a Quiz competition on Lord Baden Powell and the movement was conducted for all the members. Advanced Scout Master : Sri PV Biju led the Preliminary round. The toppers are:

3 FIDHA 7A Second
4 SRUTHI 7C third
ROAD SAFETY DAY SEMINAR organised by 'Nakshatra Sakhyam'
Nakshatra Sakhyam organiseda Road Safety Day Seminar in January.T.J Thomas, RTO Palakkad was the Chief Guest who spoke on the topic Road Safety and Students. An essay competition was also organised on the topic "Road Safety: Responsibility of Everyone".

Jyotidan 2016
The vidyalaya bade farewell the batch of Class XII students today at 09:00 am. As per the tradition of KV Kanjikode, the "Jyotidan Ceremony" was held in the Multi Purpose Hall. Mr. Karunamoorthy, MBA - IIM Ahmedabad was the Chief Guest.
Dr. S Nalayini, Principal and teachers addressed the students and blessed them wishing them good luck in the forthcoming board examinations.
