Farewell to Mrs. Usha N, PGT English on her Retirement on Superannuation

Farewell was organised in the morning assembly today to one of KV Kanjikode's finest teachers, Mrs. Usha N, PGT English on her superannuation. The morning assembly began with Mrs. Usha N, hoisting the National Flag.

A tribute to a true KVian, who has been a part of the prestigious organisation for nearly four decades, who started and completed both her schooling and her career in different KVs spread all over India.

A diligent worker, a motivating leader, an excellent administrator, an adept in handling the multi-media, a voracious! reader, a strict disciplinarian ...thus goes  the endless list of adjectives that we can attribute to this multi-faceted personality.

Representatives from Class XI A, B and C shared their memories and views on their beloved teacher wishing her all happiness in her retired life.

A voracious reader and a strong supporter of the library, she has played a vital role in inculcating reading habit and nurturing creative writing among our students.

The KV Kanjikode family wishes Madam a prosperous , peaceful and healthy retired life.

Admission to Class I: Online Lottery

All the parents of the applicants are welcome to witness the online process of lottery for preparing priority list of all categories for admission to Class I (2019-20) at 12.30 PM on 26th Mar 2019 in the school premises.

Provisionally selected candidates list/ admission schedule will be displayed in the school website and school notice board from 26/03/2019
On the admission day, child along with the parents should report to the school with the following documents in original :  (Whichever is applicable as per category of admission)
1. Birth certificate (one self-attested photocopy also)
2. Caste certificate in the name of child
3. Service certificate in the prescribed format
4. Certificate showing the transfer details by the competent authority with name and the office seal
5. SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy layer) Certificate in the name of child by the competent authority
6. EWS/BPL certificate from the authority concerned
7. Residence certificate
8. Distance declaration certificate
9. SGC affidavit in Rs. 100 stamp paper signed by notary
10. Non family accommodation certificate
11. Ex- service certificate from Zila Sainik board
12. Disability certificate if applicable
13. Printed copy of the online registration form with the latest photo of the child
14. Photocopy of Aadhar card

Quotations are invited from Registered/ Approved agencies who comply the State/ Central Labour Laws Rules for providing Clerical/Sub Staff/Security Staff(24 hours), Cleaning Staff and Gardener. For terms and conditions/details can be obtained from the Vidyalaya on all working days.

KVS Admission to Class I : How to Apply Online

Online Registration for Admission to Class I in Kendriya Vidyalaya for the Academic Year 2019-20 stared from 01.03.2019 and will close at 4:00 pm on 19.03.2019. The admission details can be obtained through website https://kvsonlineadmission.in and also through mobile app.

The application is to be submitted online. For this, you will have to register first on the Online Admission Portal. Keep the following ready to ensure smooth and quick filling of the online application form.

• a valid mobile number with Indian SIM card,
• a valid email address,
• a digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission (JPEG file of size at most 256KB),
• a scan of the child’s birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size at most 256KB),
• details of government certificate in case you are applying under economically weak section,
• transfer details of parent/grandparent whose service credentials will be used in the application.

Register on the website and note down the login code which required to login to the portal and fill the online application form.

Details provided at the time of registration cannot be subsequently changed in the admission form

you can indicate choice of up to three (3) different Vidyalayas in India, without any preference between Vidyalayas, in a single form.

After filling in the application form, it must be submitted by clicking on the Submit Application button. On successful submission, you will be assigned a unique Application Submission Code

Your application is NOT submitted and your application data will NOT be visible to KVS until you receive an Application Submission Code from the online admission portal

If you realize that incorrect information has been submitted in your application, you have the option to cancel your submitted application. You can re-apply using the same Login Code before the last date of submission of applications.
