Republic Day Celebrations 2018

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode celebrated Republic Day with variety of programmes today. Mrs. Dakshayanikutty, PRT was the Chief Guest of the day who hoisted the national flag. Students presented various cultural programmes which included patriotic song, group dances and speeches.
Rajyapuraskar certificates and CBSE merit certificates were distributed to the students. The teacher achievers of CBSE Board Examination was also felicitated.

Pournami S - A Chess Champion in the making

Pournami S of class III B grabbed first position and has become the champion, in Under 9 girls category, State School Level chess competition, conducted at Ernakulam.

Pouranami is the youngest woman FIDE rated player in Kerala. 

She is also the District Champion in U-9 Girls and U-11 Girls category and has secured third position in both categories at State Level.

In the Chess Competition conducted by The Hindu at Ernakulam, Pournami emerged as the champion in U-9 Girls.

Annual Sports Meet

Vidyalaya celebrated Annual Sports Day on 20th January 2018 at IL Ground. Mr. A Zulfikar, Chairman, VMC declared the meet open. Mrs. K Rajeswari, Principal welcomed the guests and Mr. Vikash Kumar Singh, PET presented the report for the year. Mr. Subramanian, Vice Principal proposed vote of thanks.
