KVS Regional Incentive Award to Mrs. Sasikala, PRT
Mrs. Sasikala, PRT was awarded KVS Regional Incentive Award 2019. Dr. K N Madhusoodanan, Vice-chancellor(VC) of CUSAT gave away the award at the function organised at KV No. 1 Kochi on 27 January 2019.
Mr. Mujib Rahiman, Librarian, winner of KVS National Innovation & Experimentation Award 2019 was also felicitated during the function.
Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat - Himachal Pradesh Quiz 2020
The "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat" Programme,aims to actively enhance interaction between people of diverse cultures living in different States and UT's in India, with the objective of promoting greater mutual understanding amongst them.As per the programme, each year, every State/UT would be paired with another State/UT in India for reciprocal interaction between the people. It is envisaged through this exchange, that the knowledge of the language, culture, traditions and practices of different states will lead to an enhanced understanding and bonding between one another, thereby strengthening the unity & integrity of India. The States & UTs are to embark on a mission to enhance their culture, academic and economic ties by entering into a wide range of mutual engagements with the paired States/UTs covering the spheres of music, drama, cuisine, language, history, tourism and other forms of exchange between the people. As a part of "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat " activities, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is conducting Quiz Competition from 1st January 2020 to 30th June 2020.In these quiz, contestants from each state will be quizzed on respective pairing state & winners will be taken on tour to their respective pairing state as reward.

Rajyapuraskar and Golden Arrow Certificate Distribution
Certificates were distributed to the scouts and guides who have qualified Rajyapuraskar today during the Republic Day celebrations. Golden Arrow certificates also were distributed to the Cubs and Bulbuls .Chief Guest Mrs. Remadevi, PRT gave away the certificates to the students.

Republic Day Celebrated
Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode celebrated 71st Republic Day today. Mrs. Remadevi, Senior PRT hoisted National Flag in the assembly as Chief Guest.
It was followed by cultural programme. Mast. Vishal Krishnan and Ku. Mydhili S Nair anchored the programmes. speeches by Ku. Riya Rajesh, IV D, Ku. Niveda, VIII C and Ku. Rachna, VIII C. An action song was presented by the students of primary secion. Patriotic Songs and Group Dances were the highlights of the day.
The Chief Guest gave away certificates to the Scouts and Guides who have successfully completed the Rajya Puraskar and to the Cubs and Bulbuls who earned Golden Arrow.

Project SAMARITAN Inaugurated
Honourable MP Sh. V K Sreekandan today (18.01.2020) inaugurated the Project Samaritan: Timely Help to Save a Life, organised by Rotary International District 3201 at Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode.
The Chief Guest hoisted the National Flag in the morning assembly and addressed the gathering. After the morning assembly, the Chief Guest inaugurated the programme at the Multi Purpose Hall by lighting the lamp. In his address, the Chief Guest stressed the importance of learning the first aid skills to save life during emergency situations. He wished the project all the success and expressed his hope that the programme will give confidence and necessary skills for the students to grow into responsible citizens and to serve the society.
The programme is being attended by the students of KV Kanjikode, GHSS Koduvayur and Elegant Public School Palakkad.
