The poem is written and sung by Mr. Shivakumar, Librarian, Kendriya Vidyalaya, University of Hyderabad. Mr. Shivakumar is a dedicated school librarian who has initiated many innovative projects to inculcate reading habit among the students. He also a very good poet and has penned many poems in Hindi, English and Telugu.
The poem was presented on National Library Week Celebrations during the 21 Days Inservice Course for Librarians (6-26 November 2013) at ZIET, Mysore.
