Dr. Uma Sivaraman, Deputy Commissioner, KVS RO Ernakulam visited the school on 24 May 2016. Ku. Navya Vijayan and Ku. Shwetha Sasidharan, the toppers of the Vidyalaya in CBSE AISSE 2016 welcomed the Deputy Commissioner. 

The DC congratulated both the toppers and and wished them all success in their future endeavors. She urged them to pursue higher studies with the same zeal and to become valuable citizens of the country with social responsibility.

The DC congratulated the teachers for bringing out such an excellent result and specially appreciated Dr. S Nalayini, Principal for her hard work and dedication in maintaining the consistent performance in CBSE examinations.

The DC also highlighted the efforts and performance of Dr. S Nalayini as a teacher of Physics in the absence of a regular PGT Physics teacher in the Vidyalaya.

The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the participants of the In-service Course for TGT (Science) inspiring them to be great teachers citing examples from her experiences as a teacher and principal.
